ICD9 Consult 2015 App Reviews

As far as I can tell this app does nothing whatsoever. More than just providing a list of pathologies, and a small sentence describing it, it doesnt elaborate on anything. It also doesnt explain any tests or DI that help with the diagnosis. This is nothing more than a table of contents of a pathology text book. Its just totally stupid!!! I wasted my money, dont waste yours.

I have tried using this app, but find it quite unhelpful. I enter basic items in the search feature and it often finds nothing to match (no “gestational diabetes”, etc). I know the ICD 9 terminology is entirely unhelpful itself, but at least the app could have synonyms to help people find terms they need. Otherwise, I can just look this stuff up on wikipedia.

It would be great if you introduce the possibility to create directories in the favorite section.

This the best! This app can find your code quickly and usually exactly what you need. I use it often and would recommend it highly for a quick reference.

I love this program. I use it every day to save time finding the diagnosis codes I use most frequently and finding diagnosis codes that I only use once in a while. The index of this program seems more extensive than other programs I have tried (about 4 other ICD-9 tools) - finding the right diagnosis code is just easier with this program.

I am a PCP and use this app on a daily basis for very fast, accurate coding. I can usually find exactly what I want with just a few keystrokes. For instance if I type "goi" I can see all the codes associated with goiter and pick the most appropriate one without having to get more specific in my search. It has become an indispensable part of my day. Love it!
